Paver Driveway Restoration in Spring Valley
This concrete brick paver driveway and front entry in the Spring Valley community is one example of our paver sealing in Pembroke Pines. The surface had accumulated dirt, organic growth, and worn joint sand. The goal was to thoroughly clean the pavers, restore the joints, and protect the surface while keeping the finished appearance natural rather than glossy.
Cleaning and Surface Preparation
The driveway, front entry, sidewalk, and curb areas were pressure cleaned to remove built-up dirt, organic growth, and loose material from the paver surface and joints. Thorough preparation is important before sealing because remaining contamination or unstable joint material can affect the appearance and performance of the finished sealer.
Replacing the Paver Joint Sand
After the pavers were cleaned and allowed to dry, fresh Platinum joint sand was installed throughout the joints. Replacing lost or worn joint sand helps stabilize the paver system, improves the finished appearance, and prepares the surface for sealing.
Applying the Matte Paver Sealer
As part of our professional paver sealing and restoration process, a two-part water-based sealer was applied to the driveway and front entry using a matte finish. This type of finish helps protect the pavers and stabilize the fresh joint sand while keeping the surface looking natural, without adding the high-gloss or wet-look appearance of a gloss sealer.
The Finished Result
The completed driveway and front entry have a cleaner, more uniform appearance while still keeping the natural look of the concrete brick pavers. The fresh joint sand and matte sealer finished the restoration without adding a glossy or wet-look finish.
